'Anti-Racist' Totalitarianism

If any nation is to avoid being torn to pieces by the competing desires of its members, it must possess what the philosophers call "moral imperatives." No people can be held together by sheer force. They must embrace compelling moral constraints and obligations to which people can appeal in the conduct of others.

A nation is a cultural as well as a civil society. That many of our traditional "moral imperatives" have been lost is no news. Spouses are no longer protected by sexual constraints, businesses are no longer protected by property ethics, and parents as well as children are no longer protected by blood loyalty. These authentic cultural imperatives, however, have not just been destroyed. They have been supplanted by ideologically designed and unauthentic substitutes. One of these innovative designer cultural imperatives is "anti-racism."

We are told that an American today must be an "anti-racist." White Americans of European origin are told that any recognition of themselves as a racial clan is shameful, and any action even remotely identifiable as defending that clan status is treasonable. The same proscription is not applied to non-European ethnic and racial groups since the moral imperative exists only for the dominant white, European-based culture. Few people recognize how destructive this prejudicial "anti-racism" actually is. It is planting the seeds for racial warfare by justifying acts of tyranny and blaming minority groups for those acts.

The cynical and opportunistic use of the "ant-racism" imperative by its leftist inventors is becoming shameless. A detective in the O. J. Simpson murder case was forced to relocate his family to another state because of threats after being mercilessly slandered as a "racist" by the leftist press.

With purely manufactured evidence, the New York Times and Vancouver Sun paint pro-lifers (anti-abortionists) as "racists" in a push for governmental suppression of them. Similarly, leftists from the Anti-Defamation League and other alleged "civil rights" groups slander militia organizations as "racist" with little or no evidence.

The principle they are employing is obvious. After 35 years of intense propaganda, the leftist media have established a cultural imperative that automatically turns anyone into an "outsider" who may be branded a "racist." These charges are very vague and unconnected with any application of common law. They are attitudes, not actions, attitudes which are punished by cultural banishment without trial and without demonstration of real harm to anyone.

A police officer can be harassed out of job and home for an alleged statement made many years ago. Pro-lifers are guilty if one person who shares their view on abortion can be charged with a "racist" attitude. One book out of thousands which can be alleged to have a "racist" slant condemns the whole movement. One militia member who can be said to have attended a group's "racist" meeting taints the whole militia with "racism." The wife of an alleged "racist" can be shot dead in her home, and there is no general cry in defense of the Fifth Amendment.

Four police officers are unconstitutionally subjected to double jeopardy, and two are imprisoned by a racially-selected jury because they are alleged to be "racists" for violently subduing a resisting felon. A similarly racially-selected jury convicts two other white police officers of a "racially motivated" beating of another resisting felon. The two were convicted in the press by innuendo and outright slander before being subjected to a racially-inflamed jury which threatened a lone white juror to gain a unanimous conviction.

This virulent "anti-racism" --- this version which condemns any attempt by European-descended Americans to defend their homes, families and way of life --- is the putrid core of the totalitarian boil growing on the face of America. White police officers can no longer protect our streets from violent minority criminals or even gather evidence against an alleged butcher of a white woman without facing media-fanned charges of "racism." Moral traditionalists and Constitutionalists now have also been swept under that same ubiquitous condemnation.
