It's a collective effort of its editors and writers -- the names of some of whom you'll find in the column to the left under the heading 'Writers.' It's also a collaborative effort to create new media that involves hundreds of readers who send articles and news from their local areas to our editors using the 'email' and 'submit' buttons above.

Both the Web site and the magazine are affiliated with the membership organization of the same name (founded by William Pierce in 1970 as the National Youth Alliance), the leading organization for people of European descent around the world.

Kevin A. Strom is the director of National Vanguard, overseeing all of its operations while a board of directors is being formed. A former broadcast engineer, he began the American Dissident Voices radio program in 1991, founded Free Speech magazine in 1995, was named by William Pierce to edit National Vanguard, the National Alliance Bulletin, and all Web and broadcast media outreach by William Pierce in 2002. He is the editor of all National Vanguard publications.

Dr. William L. Pierce (1933-2002) was a physics professor who left the academy to devote his life to the renaissance of his people. He was the founder and first Chairman of the National Youth Alliance, predecessor to the National Alliance and National Vanguard.

"And this one institution must not be merely a dusty repository of the truth, speaking in a quiet voice heard only by a few. Many academicians are already doing that much, on at least a few issues, reporting the truth about race in their dry professional journals, or quietly setting the historical record straight. But very few people hear or see those truths. There must be one institution which is a beacon of truth for all those who want to see, a loudspeaker for all who are willing to hear, so that the truth is at least accessible to every intelligent and open-minded man and woman of our race, to every potential member of the elite mentioned above. The masses may not want to hear or see at this time, but there are a great many individuals who do."

"In addition to the propagation of truth, a vital task of the Alliance is keeping hope alive. ...We must always keep one light burning and one door open, no matter how black the darkness before the dawn, so that every racially conscious White person has a place to turn when he is finally ready to take up the fight himself."

The National Alliance Executive Committee has oversight over all functions and programs of the National Alliance; its members are chosen from among those who have proven themselves during many years of productive work and leadership, and Committee members are now assuring a smooth transition as we reorganize. Executive Committee members are now working on providing a solid and professional structure for National Vanguard as it continues the mission begun by William Pierce.
